Summarize Your Thoughts
My favorite discoveries were definitely this blog. I have really enjoyed posting my thoughts and links that I have found interesting. I have also really enjoyed podcast lesson. The podcast lesson has affected my lifelong learning goals because while I'm traveling I can learn about world. My biggest takeaway from this project was learning about all the programs that I didn't know existed. I can not think of any way to do it differently except maybe talking about the learning 2.0 assignments more in class.

Thought-provoking series of articles about income inequality in the US.
Think about these articles next time a politician states that higher taxes on the rich would destroy America.

#10 Discovering Web 2.0 Tools
I enjoyed this exercise. The Web 2.0 Award website I checked out was Pandora Radio. This is a free music program where I can create a station based on an artist that I like. For instance I put in Tom Waits and after listening to a Tom Waits song, I listened to Nick Cave and other artists that were somewhat similar musically to Tom Waits. This program is a really good way to find out about new artists that you might like. Now its playing a song from the soundtrack of The Road. This is depressing. It's really windy out too which only adds to the eeriness. I also checked out some Google tools. Google Alarm doesn't seem too useful to me specifically because I set my phone to go off before important appointments. The Google Calendar would also not be useful for me because I carry a planner around with me. Google Earth is fun to play around with. I always like finding my house for some reason , like its going to be radically different next time I look at it. Google Earth could have uses in a library if a patron wanted to know where a country or city is located. Google Alarm and Calender could be useful for patrons who are having trouble staying organized and don't want to have to carry a planner and phone around with them.

Witch Doctors
Yeah this story is pretty messed up. It makes me appreciate living in America all the more.

Burma
Burma seems like it would be an interesting country to visit once these military rulers either stand aside or are overthrown.

America the down and out
Hey foreign policy just came out with their bi-monthly issue and since its my favorite magazine I thought I would post an article to make everyone a little sad. Prediction not as much of a long shot of happening as we'd like to believe.
